A Joint Effort to Understand DNA Damage, Repair and Mutagenesis

Welcome to Li Laboratory at University of Georgia

The Li Laboratory is in the Department of Environmental Health Science, College of Public Health,  University of Georgia. We aim at elucidating the role of DNA damage and repair in mutagenesis and carcinogenesis caused by environmental carcinogens.

Leah joined our lab as a Research Technician! She got her B.S. degree in Environmental Health Science at University of Georgia in 2020. Leah plans on pursuing a PhD in the future!

We are seeking a Research Technician to join our team! Primary duties will include preparing genomic libraries for Next-Generation Sequencing and performing molecular techniques at the bench for projects. Additionally, this position involves laboratory maintenance tasks including organizing the lab, taking inventory, placing orders, and general upkeep.
